.... ‘त्यसको कुनै पता चल्यो?’ ‘नाइँ, काका !’ ‘त्यो भेटिनलाइ हराएकै थिएन’, उसले भन्यो  .... ‘फिरफिरे’ले अलिकति हाँसोसंगै धेरै आसुँ दिएर गयो ! मीठो कथा, अविस्मरणीय पात्रहरु र भावुक अन्त्य; ‘फिरफिरे’को पढाई-यात्राभारी नै मनमा धेरै खालका आँधीबेरीहरु महसुस भइरहे ! किताबका पान्नाहरु सकिँदै जाँदा अनौठो छट्पटी थियो, जुन हरेक पान्नासंगै बढ्दै बढ्दै गइरह्यो, र अन्त्यमा आँशु बनेर अन्तिम पन्नामा बर्सिए! राता भएका आफ्ना आँखाहरु चिम्म गरी ‘फिरफिरे’ बन्द गर्दै गर्दा यस्तो लागिरहेछ, अब बसन्तलाईजस्तै मलाई पनि कहिल्यै नमेटिने पर्खाइ रहीरहनेछ.. पवन, जुठीमाई र अर्को यस्तै धित मार्ने फिरफिरेको !  ................

You thought you were better, but apparently you were just as ordinary as so many people around you. Well, life brings us many surprises; some good, some not so good. And there are some which belong to neither. Nevertheless, surprises excite us, hue our everyday. We are thrilled with every little surprise that comes our way as they make us ponder upon our own flaws and fortitude. Surprises delight us. Surprises leave us with a crippling affliction. The antagonist, Emily Thorne‘s first revenge was fulfilled. With this, I, as a keen audience (and Emily’s staunch supporter) , experienced victory as if I had just won the toughest battle of my own. म आफुलाई फिल्म-लवर भन्न मनपराउने व्यक्ति ,   तर झन्डै ९ - १० बर्षको अन्तरालपछि आज पहिलो पटक नेपाली फिल्म हेर्न गइयो │   “ कबड्डी ” ले मन जित्यो │   फिल्म हेर्नु अगाडिसम्म पनि कस्तो नै होला र जस्तो  लागेको  थियो │   तर बास्तवमै नेपाली चलचित्रहरु राम्रो बन्न थालेका रहेछन् , खुशी लाग्यो │ फिल्मबारे धेरै काम गरिसक्नुभाका हाम्रा गोबिन्‍द सिवाकोटी दाईले एक दिन मलाई भान्नुभाकोथ्यो – “ कथाबस्तु जे जस्तो भएपनि एउटा चलचित्रले दर्शकहरुलाई चलचित्र अवधिभर मनोरन्जन दिनसक्नेसम्मको हुनु नै ठूलो कुरा हो” │ हुन पनि हो पहिलो कुरा त मान्छेहरुलाई फिल्म हलसम्म तान्न सक्नुपर्यो नी नेपाली चलचित्रहरुले │   त्यसपछि कुरा आउंछ बिषयबस्तुको │   त्येही पुरानै शैलीले हिरो र गुण्डाको फाइटकै भरमा दर्शक तान्ने बिचार छाडिदिए उत्तम होला चलचित्रकर्मीहरुले │   फिल्ममा नयाँपन भए त हल खचाखच नै हुने रैछ नी ! हिजोआज नेपाली फिल्महरु हेरेर आएपछि साथीहरुले पनि तिनीहरु बारे सकारात्मक कुरा गरेको सुन्दैआएको छु │ आशा छ नेपाली चलचित्र उद्योग अझै यसरीनै फस्टाउँदै जानेछ │   म त ...

‘ कर्णाली ब्लुज ’ बाट प्रेरित भएर   सुरेश   प्राञ्जली को ‘ तुइन ’ पढ्न सुरु गरें │  सुरुवातमै रुवायो बाइ ! पश्चिमी नेपालको कथा सुन्न पढ्न एकदम रुची राख्छु म │  शायद अहिलेसम्म पश्चिम नेपाल देख्न नपाएको कारणले पनि हो की जस्तो लाग्छ │ ‘ कर्णाली ब्लुज ’ जति दुई पटकसम्म भ्याको थिएँ │  हुन त ममीको लागि किनिदिएको किताब हो , सुरुमा खोल हेर्दा के नै राम्रो होला र जस्तो लागेको थियो │  घरमा ल्याको तीन दिनसम्म त हेर्दा पनि हेरिन │  तर आज बिहान के झोक चल्यो कुन्नि , चिया पिउँदा पिउंदै ‘ तुइन ’ पल्टाएँ │  कथाको पहिलो भाग सक्दा सक्दै मेरो मन किताबमा बस्यो │  अफिस निस्कनुअघि भाग ३ सम्म सकेर मात्र निस्किएं │  भोलि शनिबार दिनभरी बसेर   ‘तुइन ’ सक्ने धोको छ │:D
